(Grade 7)

1. 1         Teaching methods of the teacher that you observed

In Grade 7, there are several methods that teachers use to teach the class. The teacher divides the class into several sessions, there is a session to practice students' English skills, then a main material session. In motivation or introduction, the teacher invites students to recall the material that was given to them previously. Then for the main material session, the teacher uses a simple explanation regarding the material to be given and then the teacher provides activities according to the topic being studied

1.2          Their learning material and innovation

The material presented is always related to everyday or real life, the teacher's delivery is very detailed in science subjects. And during learning the teacher use English language to speak with the student.

1.3          Source of learning technology used by the teachers

The sources of learning materials used in class are books and modules and each topic has different objectives and activities. There are two types of books, Teacher's Guidebooks and Textbooks for Students. Also the teachers there use modules that come from the Matatag curriculum, the Matatag curriculum is the curriculum currently used

For the tools used by teachers when teaching in class, teachers present material using PowerPoint presentations and use the TV that is available in the classroom to show it to students. For video material, the teacher uses the TV in the classroom to play video material.

1.4          Authentic Assessment used by the teachers

Teachers assess their students with practice questions that cover content they have already taught or continue from the previous lesson to be covered the following day. The teacher's assessment is then reviewed with the class at the following meeting to determine whether the students have understood it or are ready to move on to the next topic.

 TEACHING PRACTICE 1.1       Teaching procedures Before starting demo teaching, the coordinator teacher and I prepared the classroom that would be used for demo teaching, lesson plans, and also learning media. Learning begins by greeting students. After the speech, the activity continued with a group prayer led by one of the students. After that I took class attendance and counted how many students were absent that day. 1.2       Time management and organization of activities Learning time in one period is 45 minutes. I use the first 15 minutes to do Introductory Activities and examples, 15 minutes to engage, explore and explain, and 10 minutes for evaluation, and assignments.
